Variable Speed Positioning Systems
Variable Speed Positioning Systems
Joyce Variable Speed Positioning System (VSPS) is a programmable controller that increases the capability of motorized jacks by allowing the operator to easily program up to ten stopping positions. It is housed in two NEMA 4 enclosures, one for the VFD the other for the PLC (as shown). The VSPS includes an HMI display that indicates the current position as well as the stopping location.

Joyce motor starters are the heart of a basic control system for a motorized jack, actuator, electric cylinder, or ComDrive® system. Motor starters include extend and retract push buttons for momentary operation; an illuminated power-on light lets operators easily determine if there is power to the system.

Joyce MA1527 and MA3507, multipurpose linear actuators are compact, versatile and designed to lift 3500N (787 pounds) dynamic load, and 4500N (1012 pounds) static load. Each 12 VDC actuator is equipped with a potentiometer and adjustable, preset limit switches, and offers an IP65 rating that qualifies them for many wash-down and outdoor duty applications.

Joyce multipurpose actuators (MA) are compact, versatile and designed to lift dynamic loads ranging from 500N (112 pounds) to 7000N (1574 pounds) and at travel speeds up to 47 mm/sec (111 in/min). Each 120 VAC or 12 VDC linear actuator is equipped with a potentiometer and preset limit switches, and offers an IP65 rating that qualifies them for many wash-down and outdoor duty applications. A selection of AC and DC models is available to meet your specific requirements.
