Rugged Joyce limit switches allow you to set precise travel limits and stops on Joyce
jacks and actuators. They are also ideal in any application where rotary motion of a
machine component can be used to indicate linear motion of another part.

The LS7 Limit Switch is our economy model with two S.P.D.T. switch contacts.
This switch offers a NEMA 4 rated enclosure.

The LS8 limit switch is best suited for general purpose applications
requiring up to four switch contacts for operating motors, lights and other
accessories. The LS8 is available in two models; the LS8 402 (two switch
unit) and the LS8 404 (four switch unit). Both LS8 models offer a NEMA 4
rated enclosure that is rated for dust, rain and hose directed water.
Switch adjustment is achieved by simply loosening a cam detent screw and
rotating the switch trip cam to the desired position.

The LS9 limit switch is recommended for general purpose applications that
require up to seven switches. Similar to the LS8 model, the LS9 offers the
same high quality NEMA 4 rated enclosure. Five models are available, from
the two switch LS9 502 to the seven switch LS9 507. Switch adjustment is
accomplished with screwdriver adjustment of a self-locking worm gear
connected to the switch cam. Single pole double throw (S.P.D.T.) switches
are standard and double pole double throw (D.P.D.T.) are optional (see
switch combination chart).

The Joyce Electronic Limit Switch (ELS) combines the precision of jack
positioning in .001" increments with the convenience of a backlit LCD
readout that displays both position and travel speed.
Three models of ELS switches feature two, four or six user programmable
stops, a line text or two-color display, keypad, up/down pilot lights, and
are available with an RS-232 serial interface.
